I’m Max Schubert, a software project / team lead, mentor, system administrator, open source advocate, and language polygot (ruby, perl, C, java, PHP, python, Visual Basic to name a few). I’ve been working as a developer / system administrator since 1995. My online username has been perldork for a number of years.
I’ve authored one technical book – “Nagios Enterprise Network Monitoring”. I’ve published a number of perl modules to CPAN. I have a few other projects online at Sourceforge and Github as well:

I enjoy challenging projects, working with teams, and building useful stuff using open source technologies. I currently work as a project team lead on a software development team at Comcast in Reston, VA.
